Pau Yoez is a contemporary artist recognized for his work in painting and ceramics. He began his artistic career in 1993, exploring various techniques and styles in search of his creative identity. However, in 2005, dissatisfied with the direction of his work, he made the drastic decision to destroy all his creations and start over.
After nearly a decade of creative silence, in 2014, Yoez returned to artistic creation with a new perspective, choosing not to present his work to the public until he was fully satisfied with it. Finally, in January 2024, he shared his work on social media, receiving positive acclaim from the public and specialized critics.
Yoez's work is characterized by its originality and ability to convey emotions through his creations. His paintings and ceramic pieces have been exhibited in renowned international galleries, such as the Thullier Gallery in Paris, Andakulova Gallery in Dubai, La Casa del Arte in Palma de Mallorca, and the Thomson Gallery in Switzerland.
In addition, he has planned exhibitions in cities such as Madrid, Berlin, Venice, and New York.
In his ceramic work, Yoez combines traditional techniques with a contemporary and abstract approach. Each unique piece, the result of the interaction between fire and clay, features organic shapes and bold color palettes that evoke dreamlike landscapes and profound emotions. His seemingly chaotic compositions reveal an underlying harmony that guides the viewer's gaze through a carefully orchestrated visual journey.
