About Mitty
Mitty Zall, originally from Iran and now based in Los Angeles, is an abstract artist with a profound passion for capturing the beauty and energy of life. Initially trained in traditional painting techniques. Zall spent years mastering classical and impressionist style under the guidance of various mentors. Her early works reflect a respect for the techniques of the OLD Masters, even incorporating multiple layers and, at times, gold and silver leaf - a technique she explored through her admiration for Gustav Klimt. Over time, her artistic journey led her towards contemporary and abstract expressions, finding her voice most profoundly in the liberating world of acrylic - based abstraction.
Zall's recent body of work, titled "Abstract Scene," marks a turning point in her career, where she embraces acrylics to explore raw emotions and the subtleties of visual texture. This series is characterized by a minimalist yet powerful color palette, often limited to two or three colors. Through dynamic brushstrokes and innovative stroke techniques, she brings a unique depth to each canvas. "Abstract Scene #167" and "Abstract Scene #154", her latest pieces, are emblematic of her quest for experimentation and personal evolution. Exhibited internationally, including in notable venues in Europe, the Middle East and the United State, her works resonates with audiences for its emotional transparency and vibrant energy.
Through each piece, Zall not only expresses her personal evolution but also invites the viewer to embark on their own introspective journey, experiencing the power of color and form in new, transformative ways.
