Since childhood, Alisa Anderson preferred drawing, sketching, and crafting peculiar stories over paying attention in class. These early works, often misunderstood by others, reflected a unique perspective that persisted despite criticism. During this time, the artist discovered the works of Stephen King, films such as Hellraiser, and animated series like Courage the Cowardly Dog and Samurai Jack. These influences opened up a world of boundless imagination, inspiring the creation of creatures that, while fictional, felt as though they existed just beyond the edges of reality.

Over time, the artist's fascination with mysticism, the supernatural, and the unknown deepened. Inspiration came from figures such as Tim Burton and Kazuma Kaneko, whose art expanded creative boundaries and helped shape vivid characters and fantastical worlds. While studying at the academy, the artist delved into Japanese horror animation, including Yami Shibai (Theatre of Darkness), finding inspiration even in the unease these stories evoked.

The game Pathologic also left a profound impression with its raw and captivating aesthetic. A move to Cyprus brought exposure to skilled sculptors, sparking a passion for sculpting that grew alongside a continued love for sketching. Encounters with visionary artists expanded the artist's philosophical and creative outlook, further refining their style.

After completing studies at the academy, a relocation to Finland marked a significant turning point. There, the artist began exploring textured paste techniques through online courses and fully committed to a life dedicated to artistic expression. Today, the artist creates works that are both visually striking and deeply unconventional, aiming to provoke thought about the complexities of the human soul.

Drawing inspiration from a wide array of sources — films, books, animation, games, and other art forms — the artist's work is steeped in mysticism, mythology, and elements of horror. This ever-evolving style continues to push boundaries, crafting pieces that are as unique as they are thought-provoking.
