About Susanne

Susanne Zeisberg's career as an artist was full of detours and wrong turns.

Born in 1969, her parents were convinced that art was a "starving" job and that their daughter should first learn something "sensible".

So her painting became a hobby and she trained as a nurse.

After a few years she moved into sales at a large corporation.

A sudden and serious illness that resulted in a coma in her mid-40s forced her to reinvent herself once again.

The illness left her with nerve damage as a side effect, which to this day means that she has a so-called tremor, a constant shaking of her whole body.

This meant that she didn't dare to paint at first.

Today she says that her guardian angels made sure that she became aware of the pouring method. It captivated her immediately and she quickly began to study it on her own.

Contrary to all medical opinions, she now works successfully as an artist using various techniques.

Whether it's acrylic, painting, pouring, patch, plaster or mixed media, everything has its place in her work of art.

Edition Photo Rag prints on high-quality Hahnemühle paper are available from her works of art.

Artist Statement

<< In my art, I strive to translate emotions and thoughts into visual forms. Each work is an invitation to see the world through my eyes and discover the stories hidden in the colors and shapes.

I believe that art is a universal language that connects people and makes them think.

I explore the boundaries between surface and space by combining a variety of methods and materials on the canvas.

Each work is an experiment that aims to take viewers into a three-dimensional experience. By layering textures and colors, I create vibrant, dynamic compositions that create a fascinating 3D effect in the Original.

My goal is to appeal to the senses and encourage an interaction between the artwork and the viewer. I invite you to discover the depth and dimension of my works and find your own interpretation of the stories they tell.

My works were only tentatively published on social media in early 2023.

My pictures are now selling through exhibitions and commissions.

If you are interested in the original pictures, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Come with me now in my world of colors, shapes and energies. >> (Susanne Zeisberg)
