Peter Farrington

Peter  Farrington is a Canadian Artist and Environmental Specialist living in the UAE. Over the past 35+ years, he has worked with many governments in Canada, Oman, Qatar and the UAE providing strategic advice on nature conservation, climate change, environmental awareness, and environmental impact assessment.  Peter’s inspired art journey has been much shorter, but no less impactful for him, beginning unexpectedly after moving to the Sultanate of Oman in 2008.  While Sporadic at first, painting has now become a necessary, regular practice since 2012, the desire to do so fueled by an irresistible compulsion that can arrive at anytime of day or night, and anywhere.  With a sensitive and strongly intuitive approach rooted in nature and spirituality, Peter’s range of mixed media works reveal unseen worlds, future events, and often surprising individualized messages for viewers. 

His works have been exhibited in Oman, Dubai, New York City, Los Angeles and Milan.
