About Marcel
Marcel Roxin, born on March 14, 1969, was discovered by his family at the age of 3 when he first attempted to capture reality on paper by sketching various outdoor scenes in pencil. This early experience ignited his passion for art, leading him to engage in numerous artistic activities. With diverse artistic interests, he continued to explore his inner talents. Marcel attended the Popular Art school in his natal city, Arad, where he also started painting in oil at the age of 13.
He participated in various national competitions in oil painting, watercolor, acrylic, and linocuts. Additionally, he attended cinematography course for 3 years starting at the age of 16. A year later, he dedicated himself to wood sculpture for 5 years, earning a reputation for his undeniable talent.
