About Lionel

Plastic Artist (Painter, Sculptor and Ceramic Artist) born in Mozambique in 1979.

He began his artistic career in 1999 and was considered a discovery in 2000. Since then he has received two award diplomas from the national Art Museum in 2002 and 2003.

Abstract painting often transcend the traditional boundaries of visual art.

Challenging viewers to engage witch pieces on a more emotional and intellectual level. Those works eschew realistic depictions in favor of exploring color, form and composition in way that provoke contemplation and stir the imagination abstract art in vets a subjective interpretation allowing each observer to bring their own experiences, emotions and thoughts to the artwork.
