About Katalin

Katalin Kocsis was born in 1972, in Hatvan, Hungary. She studied here until high school.

The love of drawing permeated her entire childhood. When she was in primary and secondary school, she attended specialist classes - graphics, ceramics.

After that, her life took a different direction - family, children and further education: graphologist, handwriting expert, University of Miskolc Faculty of Law, then psychology, mental health, coaching. But drawing did not stop in her life during this time either. In her spare time, Katalin used drawing for her own and her child's pleasure, as well as to experience difficult situations - she developed myself in a self-taught way.

Later, two mentors helped her further development, one painter and one painter, who follow her work to this day.

She felt from her own experience, and her idea was also confirmed during her studies, how liberating, calming and trauma-processing art creativity is, and last but not least, it also develops important competencies during our daily activities and work, such as the problem solving. That's why she likes to use it at work.

In connection with this, many "Art Brut" works were born, of which she organized 6 exhibitions for the pleasure of the general public and the creators.

Over the years, Katalin also had several exhibitions, and her pictures were judged several times by galleries in Hungary and abroad.
