Marileia Lasprilla is a priestess, artist, and activist for human rights and the rights of the people of Terreiro.
She is a daughter, mother, grandmother, married, with two sons and one daughter, all married, and five grandchildren awaiting their sixth.
Since childhood, she has identified with art, drawing, painting, dance, and music. She has always drawn and painted.
And for the last seven years, Marileia dedicated herself to painting on canvas. Art brings her well-being, joy, and fulfillment. For her, creating is a great transformative agent in life, and she wants the colors that overflow within her to also bring emotions to the world.
And in 2025, she created and launched the Afro figurative Spiritual Style, and she wants to spread and plant seeds throughout the world.
Figurative art, inspired by her experiences, knowledge, and ancestral practices, is art that presents vibrant colors.
